Based on feedback from previous games, it can sometimes help players to have a list of the player characters they might encounter. While this does risk losing a bit of the mystique, I have noticed that it makes it easier to know which characters you might hear about but have no narrative authority over–though don’t let that stop you from making things up about them anyway!
